Investment Approach
We primarily buy the stocks of companies with market capitalization of less than $3 billion. Within this "small-cap" universe, we buy companies —
- That are significantly undervalued, based on a normalized return analysis
- Potentially experiencing a temporary downturn in earnings, but without a deterioration in fundamentals
Sell Discipline
We will consider selling one of our holdings if —
- A company's fundamentals deteriorate
- A company's growth prospects become less attractive
- The stock's price rises to the point where we believe the stock is fairly valued
