Investment Approach
We buy companies with market capitalizations below $3 billion. Within this small-cap universe, we buy the stocks of companies —
- That are demonstrating strong earnings and revenue growth within their industries
- That offer attractive return potential, based on fundamentals — including return on assets, price-to-earnings, and earnings per share growth
Sell Discipline
We will consider selling one of our holdings when —
- Its market capitalization rises above $3 billion, and we believe it is less attractive than other small-cap investments that become available
- Its price exceeds our target price-to-earnings ratio
- Our anticipated growth for the company does not develop as expected
